because there is a lot scammer around the internet here is my tips when selling a pagerank domain.

1. if got buyer from forums check your buyer track record, itrader, and ask if   they have   membership in other forum.
2. wait 3 days after payment completed to transfer/push the domain if not sure with the buyer
3. ask about his other domain and check the whois data
4. track his username or email using google.com maybe you found something
5. if still not sure with the buyer ask him to pay using 2co or wire transfer do not ask to pay using paypal.
6. if you got scammed try contact  registrar and give your proof use print screen or forward the email transaction, the registrar support like godaddy will help you to get your domain back if still not transferred to other registrar
